Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

BTN: $25 (100 bb)
SB: $26.12 (104.5 bb)
Hero (BB): $27.48 (109.9 bb)
UTG: $25.35 (101.4 bb) 27/19/5%3b(119h)
MP: $27.29 (109.2 bb)
CO: $8.38 (33.5 bb) 75/25/50%3b(4h)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q Q
UTG raises to $0.75, MP folds, CO raises to $1.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $3.70, UTG folds, CO calls $2.20

Flop: ($8.25) 9 K 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $4, Hero raises to $8, CO calls $0.68 and is all-in

Turn: ($17.61) 3 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($17.61) 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$17.61 pot ($0.79 rake)
Final Board: 9 K 6 3 8
Hero showed Q Q and won $16.82 ($8.44 net)
CO mucked T T and lost (-$8.38 net)

Preflop: raise size was to get rid of the reg and commit myself against the fish.

Postflop: Kxx not the greatest flop. I'm obviously not folding but he puts me on AK a lot here and might be bad enough to fold worse to a cbet despite the odds. So my plan is check/call flop and otherwise just shove the turn.

All fine?

Hello member001,

Preflop: I like the smaller 4-bet to give him a chance to put the rest of the money in.

Postflop: As played I like either betting something like $1 and calling off (inducing light raise/call) or just ck/calling like you did.

Either way we are not folding this hand.

If he checks behind i wouldn't jam the turn but rather go with the same plan of betting $1 and calling it off.
