i normally dont play anything fancy against unknowns if they show strenght, but here i tought that he gave me amazing odds and not only i have a draw to two overs (which likely will give me the best hand) but also a BD nut FD so ive decided to peel one and ch/f turn and river unimproved. Do you think that makes sense or is that gonna be a loosing play itlr?

Anybody suggesting getting a bit more aggressive? E.g. 3bet shove over his minraise on the flop (dont think so)? stab river after he checks turn (dont think so)?

Or maybe simply ch/c river as played?

IMO, you have to make your play on the flop. you either have to say 'YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT SIR' and 3bet shove flop. or just give him credit and fold.

taking this 'ill flat and try hit a card' approach OOP is going to be very tough to justify.

even when im getting 14,6% on a call on the flop? Im almost getting immediate odds to call for a pair itself, not to mention BDFD. But then again i agree that its gonna be probably pretty hard to get any value if i hit (unless he hits that card as well with his Ax or Kx).

you arent getting the odds to hit the turn. you are oop and you dont know if he will bet again on the turn (which changes your odds again to hit the river).

also, you have FE now + redraw outs. winning a 900 chip pot without seeing SD is better than calling OOP and trying to hit 6 outs. be aggressive, its the correct strategy
