I don`t have info for villain.
What do you think about turn? I think bet turn and check/fold when miss river isn`t good line. Only turn bet don`t have a lot FE.
When I check/push and he calls I don`t have bad equity, but I he might don`t have a lot hands which bet/fold on the turn. Because the pot is 3 way and he will have less floats, but this flop don`t hit hard the range of BB.
Please post your analysis for the different lines on the turn.
Thank you.

Hi,

I think 1200 would get you a lot more fold equity than 1040 bet.
I guess he can´t have turn b/c range, so I don´t mind your shove. Problem is that I don´t know if you´re doing that with overpairs and if you´re not balanced that spots, then players would snap you off with Tx and 88
Also it seems a lot more credible if you make it 5500 and then shove any river.
I would usually go there bet/bet/evaluate line. If you want to fold out floats then turn bet would usually work out and if he wants to make some move then there is some bluffraise/fold room.

best regards,

best regards,

Why do you think so?

Why do you think he can`t bet/call? He could have TT,44,22 and could call with Tx and flush draws with over cards.
I can play sometimes over pairs so, but I play for first and maybe for last time with this guy, I don`t think it`s mandatory to be balanced. I can play with every hand the line, which I think it`s the best in the current spot.
I don`t think it`s better to check/raise(5500) with over pairs in this spot, because I give him very good odds to call with flush draws and stack me when hit or fold when miss.

Hi all,

I think villain has too many mid pair hands here for us to check the turn. I think he will check these back too often. I would rather go for a second barrel and try fold them out on the turn, and give up on the river (shove diamond and club rivers). As played I like a c/rai more than a check/raise to 5k, for the reasons Papi92 already listed.

TT would most of the times 3-bet pre-flop. 22/44 are in his range, but also any other pp, also flushdraws and some Tx hands.
Just your overall bet seems to be a little too small that it might get floated or raised a little too often.
I´m not sure if you´re betting that same spot 1040 with aces (without diamond) and your flushdraws, but if these bet sizes are slightly bigger, then it is very profitable spot to bluffraise/float you most of their range.
5,5k seems in my eyes stronger than direct shove.

well I know I'd be balanced there with a smaller betsize on the flop so I have no issues with that.

5.5k on the turn may look stronger but PaPi is right, we sometimes get owned when bad diamonds float us correctly.

I don`t make 2nd barrel on this card, because I don`t think he will fold pocket pairs on the turn.
When I check/push he could make the mistake to bet/call diamond flush draws(have ~30% equity, but need ~35%) and some clubs flush draws(this will be very big mistake vs my hand)
Some bad players could bet/fold pocket pairs on the turn. So this is fine for me.

Do you have any value when you make this play though? I think you have a draw each and every time :\

Do you think, I should be balanced in every spot vs unknown? I think, this is unnecessarily.

agree, but since hero wants to get folds out of medium pp-s and better Ax hands then c/r 5.5k, shoving river would likely get you the most fold equity as AdJd would always b/c turn.

I agree 100% here.

Players wont give you the credit and prob but you on a draw or weak hand. I say that cause the board is just to wet not to barrel twice with good made hands.

Hi all,

I just feel in this spot we either face mid pairs checking back vs our c/rai attempt OR bet/calling, and folding to 2nd/3rd barrels. This is why I like to have value hands here: makes our opponent unable to just own us with his standard decisionmaking here.
