the hand looks too passively and weakly played to me...what could i have done differently?maybe 3bet pre?
as played river is a fold yea?

imo as played river is easy fold;
u could had 3bet, but if he calls, you had to barrel flop, and on turn the tought "what to do": go broke-line or check/fold;
without reads, i would called the raise and folded on the turn barrel.

3x raise is often strong hand. I would either fold on the turn or call him down.
no point 3-betting hand that can flop sets and at least c/c flop.
