given 50bb stack sizes, I don't think people are bet/folding JX here too often.
Think it's fine and there doesn't seem to be too much point in calling again since pot is already so bloated (>20$ and we have <10$ behind) so it makes more sense to shove for protection instead of pot controlling.

Preflop is fine.
On the flop we could consider raising here and trying to get it in. Quite a drawy board we have here.
As played, I do agree with mbml that shoving here is fine. I doubt that he'd going to bet/fold a made hand here at all and there are some draws that we want to take value from.
