Preflop: Hero is BTN with T J

River: ($0.31) 6 (2 players)

Results:

Spoiler

$0.31 pot ($0.01 rake)
Final Board: 5 Q 2 8 6
Hero mucked T J and lost (-$0.14 net)
UTG mucked and won $0.30 ($0.16 net)

Villain is 30/20/0 over 10 hands, A.F 0.

PF: I 3-bet bluff vs Villain

Flop: It is quite dry. But when Villain calls my 3-bet, I put him on medium pocket pairs like 88-JJ, AK/AQ. I think he will call my c-bet with only a Q high Flop at least once.

I think if I were to c-bet, I need to barrel at least one more time if he calls it. And I'm not really ready for it. And I only have a backdoor straight, no diamond.

Is it played okay?

Hi cheekopeh,

I think that with position we can still attempt to take this pot down with a 1/2 pot cbet.

A 1/2 pot cbet only has to work 33% of the time and we have a few high cards we can barrel.
