i was just curious if there was any restrictions on the bonus you get from here for pokerstars. i wanted to know if there is and requirements to cash out or to transfer money to other players if i wanted to stake friends in a game. do i have to reach a certain amount of points or anything before i can cash out or transfer funds?

Yes there is a restriction:
5. Step - Clear the $50 Starting Capital
After receiving your $50 you can start with the clearing of the starting capital. You have 3 months time to collect 500 FPPs (Frequent Player Points system of PokerStars).
Attention: You have 90 days time to clear the 500 FPPs. If you don't do so the starting capital will be retracted from your account. Once you clear the 500 FPPs you can withdraw.
