Preflop: Hero is BB with K 4
3 folds, SB raises, Hero calls

Flop: (4 SB) 4 Q A (2 players)
SB bets, Hero ???

Should I call this down if no face card comes???

I ran the numbers and it seems that if only lowcards comes I can call.
Obvioulsy it depends on the villains agg too but as a general line????

id call and wait for the turn. but i dont think you should make a general line of calling down bottom pair .. as you say you ran the numbers. and it looks like a call down i dont disagree. but you can't go and say "i have this line for bottom pair" , " i have this line for mid pair" .. you should definitely do it vs the specific player. have a line tailored to him and not 1000 others. I cant say exactly how SB is since you dont post his stats (which btw. is a huge help if you ask me) if hes unknown. call once and evaluate.

As Avataren already mentioned, there is no general line and it always depends on your opponents tendencies but against unknown i would definitely call this flop and call the turn and on pure blanks i'd call this down and get a read but i think if another card comes that connects well to A and Q, for instance T or J, i would call the Turn again and probably fold to another riverbet.

I think it changes a little bit of 3 :club: are on the board and his betting range on the turn is slightly more leaned towards 1card flushdraws, i'd be more inclined to call another bet on the river if he follows through. It actually just gets close on the River but Flop and Turn is a call and on blanks i will see the showdown, not certain about folding if turn is a 2♣ but i'd feel comfortable with folding if T or J non :club: appears on the Turn and he bets all streets.
