Hero (SB): $4.39 (219.5 bb)
BB: $2.51 (125.5 bb) 24/18/fld cbet 71/WTSD 23 /126 hands
UTG: $2.27 (113.5 bb)
MP: $1.50 (75 bb)
CO: $1.65 (82.5 bb) 43/38/22 hands
BTN: $2.13 (106.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♠ J♠
2 folds, CO raises to $0.04, BTN folds, Hero raises to $0.14, BB calls $0.12, CO calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.42) 5♣ 5♠ K♥ (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets $0.16, 2 folds

i have marked CO as a fish .
My question on this hand is can we cbet? the flop is good + the bb fold a lot to cbets . but the CO is fishy and prob dont folding much .
I believe that cbet is better with AJ + K high /dry flop .

Hi Noulispa,

Preflop: looks fine versus fish for value.

Postflop: I don't mind a cbet here given our hand. We should expect to take down this pot 33% of the time (that's how often 1/2 pot bet has to work) and if called we have outs to improve.

And as you said BB has to play a bit face up since he is caught in between two guys.

Hi Bogdan!

We should c-bet here even without backdoor FD?

The backdoor FD gives us 10 extra outs that improve our hand on the turn so it adds a lot to our playability.

So without it, OOP to two players I'd prefer to just ck/fold like you did here.
