Hi guys,

I've won a package for a tournament in Tallinn and would like to get in touch with somebody from there in order to give me some advice what would be interesting to visit and see, besides the poker, while I'm there.

Best,
Vasil

Hey there, I'm from Estonia, currently in the UK though.

When are you going and how much spare time would you have for sightseeing and partying?

Sightseeing

Well, the obvious one is "the old town" in central of Tallinn. A beautiful, fairy-tale piece of medieval architecture. Lots of museums in the area e.g medieval torture chambers.

Museum of the soviet era:

Estonian art museum Kumu:

Also a lot of churches and cathedrals near the city centre worth visiting.

Accommodation

For more of a budget trip, this is the best choice (16eur a night 300m from the old town)

Cuisine

I would recommend Olde Hansa restaurant for very interesting and delicious meals.

For more of a regular (and cheaper!) dining experience I recommend italian diner "Vapiano"

Partying

Near the old town, there are lots of pubs, most appreciated are usually "The pub without a name" "Hell Hunt" also a few "St. Patricks" around the area.
Right on the edge of the old town there is "Venus Club" where most of the beautiful Estonian girls go for drinks and dancing. The best club I´d say is "Club Prive" which is right on the corner of the Liberty Square.

Poker:

The biggest casino is Park casino with daily poker tournaments and plenty of drunk Finnish fish.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask anything. :)

Johnny.
