Hero checks, CO bets $0.15, Hero calls $0.15

Villain was unknown, is it ok to call?

Hi.

Are you referring to preflop or flop?

Preflop: I think calling is fine, 3bet could be fine too, since we don't really want to call too often in the SB, with BB left in the hand who can easily call and come along, making us OOP in a 3way pot. It also sucks if we get squeezed and are forced to fold. In the BB I prefer calling for sure when we close the action.

Flop: You have no other options but to call the Flop. We have top pair, but raising may be overplaying our hand here. there are a ton of stronger hands like 99 77 97 T8 J9, and stuff like JT T9 all have a lot of equity vs our KJ.
