Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A♠, Q♦
2 folds, Hero raises, MP2 folds, MP3 3-bets, 4 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.40 SB) K♠, 3♥, 7♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero folds, MP3 gets uncalled bet back..

Final Pot: 3.70 BB

I would like to call this bet but I fear he has A/K. Also, even if he doesn't but continues to bet on the turn I don't see how i can call here.

The sample size aint that big but from what i can see of it is that he is pretty agressive both preflop and postflop so i wont put him on AK here right away because his range is much wider then this.

Could we peel here getting 7:1? We have 1 out for our backdoorstraight and maybe 4 outs for our A and Q? You would need 8:1 potodds for that so combined with the fact that he is going to bet the turn almost everytime i think we can peel a turn here but its very close.

Edit: Please notice that im an SH player. We have to give players more credit for a hand in FR games but still i like my thoughts here.

Not the best spot: opp is loose-agressive, he has position and you didnt hit anythin. But i think fold is too weak, becuse his 3-bet range may include more combinations than AK and big pocket pairs.

I would call Flop and check/fold if Turn brings nothing good.

Hi MP87,

the poster above are correct but as you are new to the game (if I'm wrrong please let me know) you are better to fold this right on the flop.

If you are a bit more experianced you can start calling the flop to see if the turn changes anything in your favor but beginner should stay out of difficult decissions. :)

ok sounds good. I used to play a lot of sng's but decided i was gonna take a shot at FL so i'm relatively new at it. i guess i'll look into making more of those flop calls once i've reached silver and read more of the strategy articles. thanks
