Hey,

im quite sure that i got hit by variance here and had a bad beat but i want to make sure that my decision to shove was correct.

villian was LAG after 80 hands, only 3 player left in tournament and our stack sizes were nearly equal. second place was payed buyin and 1st satelite ticket. Im mentioning this because i ask myself if in that position i should have just flat called the turn raise and check it down to not risk my seat?

You're a 75% fav on the flop, so you lose 1/4 of the time so yeah ul.
Raise pre and he's not playing the hand.
By shoving you make him fold the majority of the time and he's only calling with 9x, overpairs and some weird 4x hands maybe even F draws who knows players do anything. Anyway call, keep in the worst of his range, let him catch up a little, let him hang himself. Very rarely does he have something that he can call your shove with.

Hello TobZero,

Preflop:

Raise preflop. Our hand is too strong to limp it.
If villain is 3-beting too often than your limp is fine. After he raise I prefer shoving. We got ton of fold equity. Also our hand doesn't play well post flop especially out of position.

Flop:

With our full I prefer just to check/call and let villain bluff on the next streets. There is noting to protect from. We are only chasing away his bluffs with this push.
