Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
SB ($44.59)
BB ($15)
UTG ($28.64)
UTG+1 ($41.08)
UTG+2 ($12.50)
MP1 ($106)
MP2 ($14.13)
Hero ($25.25)
BTN ($35.99)

Dealt to Hero J♠ J♣

fold, fold, fold, MP1 raises to $0.62, fold, Hero calls $0.62, BTN calls $0.62, fold, fold

FLOP ($2.21) 7♣ 6♠ Q♠

MP1 checks, Hero bets $1.41, BTN calls $1.41, MP1 folds

TURN ($5.03) 7♣ 6♠ Q♠ A♣

Hero checks, BTN bets $3, Hero folds

BTN wins $4.80

This is a common spot I'm not sure about. I'm never sure if we can bet the turn for thin value or check/call is best.
The A is a card I would bluff so I want to bet as he may call me light, and there are draws as well. But is it reasonable to expect any value here?, if we check/call we're inviting him to fire the river as our range looks super weak but I hate bluff catching at these stakes.

What's a standard line when we have initiative but less than top pair, oop?

Hi,

I won't even bet the flop at all. When you are 3way, betting Flop basically isolates you vs a range which beats you. Just check and hope BU checks back. If he bluffs we can c/c. If he bets and other guy calls we can c/f.

Thanks.
