Poker Stars $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players -

SB: $20.97 - VPIP: 25, PFR: 9, 3B: 0, AF: 1,0, Hands: 53
UTG: $55.16 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 15, 3B: 7, AF: 2,4, Hands: 146

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is MP with K :club: K :spade:
UTG raises to $0.85, Hero raises to $2.50, 2 folds, SB calls $2.40, 1 fold, UTG raises to $7, Hero calls $4.50, SB calls $4.50

Flop: ($21.25) J :club: Q :spade: 7 :diamond: (3 players)
SB checks, UTG bets $10.25, Hero?

I only call because the SB is fish. The UTG range is very strong here, I think QQ+, maybe AKs.

Hi GSG,

What's the purpose of our call preflop? Even if the fish calls we are still facing a strong range. We have a nice hand that fairs well against UTGs potential range so we should just go with the hand preflop.

As played can you see villain cbet multiway in a 4-bet pot without a hand? I think the worse we can hope for is AQs.

I call pre to keep the fish in the pot and my plan was to stackoff any non A board . And both I and reg are 120 bb deep.

Bogdan you think that the heavy Ax range of the fish is too much of a danger for the call here? Cuz I am on the same thinking that GSG is, getting it in preflop would just scare the fish and we'll end up playing standard game vs reg, which is only having a strong range here?

You want to take advantage of the AK/QQ in the reg's range?
