BTN: $5.09 (127.3 bb)
CO: $3.88 (97 bb)
Hero (UTG+2): $4.90 (122.5 bb)
BB: $4 (100 bb)
MP3: $7.81 (195.3 bb)
MP1: $4 (100 bb)
MP2: $1.02 (25.5 bb)
SB: $3.89 (97.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with Q Q
Hero raises to $0.16, 4 folds, BTN raises to $0.32, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.16

Flop: ($0.70) 4 3 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.40, Hero calls $0.40

Turn: ($1.50) K (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($1.50) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.95, BTN raises to $4.37 and is all-in, Hero folds

Villain plays 11/7, 3bet percentage from button = 12%, not specific reads on him.
Should i bet on the river? He is not a big fish, so could only call with a J-high flush at best. Is the size fine?

Hi Erevos,

Preflop: What sample do we have on him? 12% looks on the high end so we may look at 4-betting preflop.

Postflop: As played I think we should bet 1/2 on the river and fold to any action but any bet is really thin because there's not a lot that can call.

It is only 30 hands from the button (total 880 hands). Total 3bet=7 . I don't remember when this stat converges, but really shows a tendency to 3bet a lot from BU , right?

Also he just minraised; so a good 4bet range would be JJ+, AQ+ ?

Thanks a lot!

That sample is large enough to be able to use the 3-bet numbers. He is nitty though I feel that he can 3-bet a lot of hands and he is most likely raising worse hands like AQ and such and thus I would 4-bet for value. I think that JJ and AQ are a bit too light to 4-bet here so I'd stick to AK/QQ+
