villian was tight as far as i could judge

i bet the turn as i had a gutshot and an overpair and folded as his 3bet OOP looked extremly strong to me.
should i just check the turn and go to showdown?

Hello,

Preflop raising is fine. Is this your standard from BU - 4bb?

Why don't we bet the flop here? I think this is an easy cbet here.

As played, when he checks the turn as well, I think betting is fine.
When he raises though, folding is good.

Best,
Plamen

Hey,

would it be good play to generaly cbet a draw heavy flop like this with an overpair?
(considering we are IP and Villian is tight!)

Ofc you cbet on draw heavy boards. You will have your profits on poker, when someone calls you off with draws :)!

Hey,

We are always cbetting here with our hand.
- we can get called by worse - 7x/6x/weaker overpairs/draws
- we are happy to make him fold his QJ which has around 25% equity against us
