Why did you call pre flop? You play a hand Oop and 70% of the time you are not going to hit. I prefer 4betting and getting it all in.
The advantages of 4betting and getting it all in is that he could go in with worse like AQ or fold better like TT JJ and you reduce your positional disadvantages.
As played I think it's a call on the river he could have slow played his A and I don't think he has a 3 in his 3betting range and seldom he has 22 or 99 so it's probably something like AJ AQ.
That said he does not cb so often so I prefer betting out flop turn and river myself for value if I called pre flop.
