Hello I'm mainly a fixed limit player won a seat in the WCOOP event #3

Question is what touraments are good for working on the FL tourney. Lately I have been playing the $4.40 on Stars for practice.

Anyone have experience with FL tournaments. What is the best method in going far in these that make you successful. I've had some success making the money as I'm a PS TAG but not final tables. My basic strategy thus far has been to play tight and slowly build a stack so when the blinds are big I can loosen up to steal those with the small stacks. I realize that luck is a major factor because the blinds get so high realitive to the stack sizes that TPGK is sometimes good enough. Any advice would be helpful.

In early stages play like it's a FR game and in late stages play like it's SH. At least imo, but if you are going to search the web for literature please tell me what you found :)

Thanks Dippy I know you qualified aswell are you trying other FL MTT for practice for this event, if so what ones.

Been playing the FL SNG to work on the single table aspect. I will let you know any findings I come up with in my further search for knowledge.

Your right though, it plays just like you mentioned, I guess thats why I don't fair as well as I should, haven't made the switch to FR SH yet.

My first google came up with this article , good read touches a lot of what your saying.

No, I didn't have time to practice, but maybe I'll try some. If you want we can rail each other and have a sort of one-on-one learning session... :P

And thanks for the articles, I'll probably check them out tomorrow :)

I forgot something, if you want to practice you can try the daily FL freeroll on Party :)

Might be better asking in the FL Forum? I'm not sure if they allow tournament discussion or if its just cash but I think most here play NL so your response might not be great.

Gl anyway and gratz on qualifying
