Something like 88 medium pocket pair with a heart?

Just kidding, I believe you.

Come on, the reason I chose that hand on my example is because of villain's overcall preflop. Somehow it was easier to put him on a range.. In your example, BB could be calling with anything... but that doesn't mean that I won't give it a shot.

My guess is QxJh or QxTh... Am I allowed 2 answers?

And hey, how about including some stats on villain on our next posts?

Oh yes I forgot :f_biggrin: Villain is 18/11/4.1 over 442 hands. They include some FR hands though.

Hint: There must be a reason for his sudden pot size lead out upon seeing that river card.

AQ or KQ with a Kh...he could be squeezing both hands pre especially AQ so the KhQ seems slightly more likely

edit: just saw that youve won the hand so its probably KhQ xD

Don't think you guys will get it right exactly with just one or two guesses, but you guys are right about Kh, he did not have a Q though. He had kh9h, haha. But I guess getting the Kh right is good enough for this hand. lucker you may provide the next hand

BB: $56.31 (112.6 bb)

SB: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A♦ Q♦
Hero raises to $1, SB raises to $4, BB folds, Hero calls $3

Flop: ($8.50) J♠ A♥ 6♦ (2 players)
SB bets $4.50, Hero calls $4.50

Turn: ($17.50) J♥ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($17.50) 8♥ (2 players)
SB bets $14, Hero calls $14

Villain has 9% 3bet oop w 70% cbet in 3bet pots playing at 23/21

Btw for the sake of a more +EV game I think it will be more benefitial if we share what exact ranges we put the opponent(s) on different streets(+the one hand which we think is most likely) rather than just 1 hand cause that way the game may eventually turn into random guesses

Villain probably cbets most of his range on the flop.

The turn in his eyes might be a bad bluff card, you wont fold Ax, Jx, and there probably arent much random floats in your range unless villain does cbet flop, ch/fold turn a lot. I would still expect him to barrel good Ax and Jx, but he might check some weaker Ax or an FD or hands his giving up with.

On the river depending on his tendencies, his might vbet thin with Ax, valubet his flushes. By default I dont expect bet/check/bet to bluffy line.

Hey Lucker9200,

As a reward for trying to figure out your hand, can I ask you how a typical 50NL player construct his 3bet range? I am not sure if it is the same at my current stake.

Assuming villain is a winning player, the only hands I could think of that will take a bet/check/bet line on this board are:

non-broadway FD, JJ, AJ, AA, 88, and most Ax for thin value. I am not sure if his 3betting 88 though.

I think any bluff here is a spew.
