Hey,

There's no question about it, this is a preflop fold. BU is not super wide plus he doesn't fold to 3bets. You just force in money into the pot with the worse hand.

If you assume this is good enough to 3bet, there's just about no way you can assume you can't call one bet with top pair. Your preflop thinking didn't show in postflop play so one of them is wrong. Preflop is definitely not right so once preflop is clearly -EV it's hard to make any +EV decision post OOP.
