Poker Stars $0.05/$0.10 Limit Hold'em - 8 players

Pre Flop: (1.4 SB) Hero is MP1 with Q :spade: Q :diamond:
2 folds, Hero raises, 3 folds, SB calls, 1 fold

Flop: (5 SB) A :diamond: K :diamond: T :club: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls

Turn: (3.5 BB) A :club: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls

River: (5.5 BB) 4 :spade: (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls

I felt after that I should have raised on the river
but felt a bit timid due to the ace/king combo on the board.

Any thoughts?

Raising the river here would be awful, nothing worse pays off the raise

Checking back turn is also an option as you'll have a lot of Aces and Kings in your MP1 range so QQ is actually not that good of a hand in your range on the turn plus you have a gutshot you'd rather not pay 2 bets for but I can't say I hate the bet.

When he donks the river he's representing a busted draw or a terribly played value hand. You don't gain aganst either by raising.

The only hand I can see folding that's better than QQ is something like K2-K6s and even then this isn't the hand you want to turn into a bluff here. Just call and take your medicine.

Okay so I did the right thing, might have checked the turn.
I'm awful at ranges at this point in my game.

Thanks!
This is very educational. :)
