What plan do you think is better:
1. bet turn big and river small
2. bet 2/3 turn and a) 1/3 river
b) 3/4- pot
c) over bet shove (to look polarized )
What range do you think he is having after calling turn ?

Hi.

How often do people overbet as a bluff at microstakes? How often do you overbet as a bluff? Do you expect people to bluff catch you for no good reason?

Good spots to overbet
1) You have the nuts, opponent is likely to have a 2nd best hand (full house vs trips for example)
2) You rep a lot of bluffs (all the draws missed, board is Jd Td 6c 5c 2s and we have AA or TT , we want to overbet River to rep a busted draw and get AJ to hero call you)
3) Opponent's range is obviously capped and we want to apply max pressure on his range

This spot doesn't fall into any of those categories. Turn bet is fine, I would just bet 8 or 9 on the River.

Thanks.

Can you give me few exemples off caped range .
Is it for exmpl 22588 r board and villain flats from BB and we are Co so we can rep QQ+ and over shove river(this one is easy i guess but can you give me few tougher ones).

BU raises and we call,

Board is T85ss, BU checks behind and we overbet the Turn. BU never has JJ+ now, and he probably has a weak TX hand at the very most but he probably bets most TX hands on the Flop as well. We could do this with some bluffs, and some TX hands like AT KT QT which are all crushing BU's range.
