Hello,

Preflop I'd isolate bigger.

This board is not the best for cbetting, so having an ace high which is a decent showdown value, I prefer checking back.
Also, our bet is quite big here.

As played, betting the turn is fine.

On the river I'd rather check back there. I can hardly see him calling with worse hands here.

Did you misread the hand? I was in position. He bet into me on the river, so i couldn't have checked when he did that. I would also have checked on the river if he wouldn't have bet into me.

Yeah, I probably have misread the hand here.

So, when he donks here into us, we are hardly any good, so folding looks like a decent option. I really don't expect him to play like this with something like KJ or so.
