What are the best games to play if all u want is $10/h? and how many tables are required? Bankroll?
There are several factors that need to be considered. First of all if you are just starting to play poker I think that the easiest route would be to start playing some No limit hold em cash games (maybe NL2).
If you've got the experience and the bankroll (several K) I think the multi table tournaments might be the way to go.
Simply put hyper turbo sng's would be the way to go, if you were mass tabling the 3.50's you could probably get $10/h. wouldnt take very long to learn a winning strategy there.
bankroll id say $500 should be enough.
$700 to be on the more safe side.
1k to be certain.
And we are talking 8-12 tabling.
DON sng's are an easy way to build a bankroll but I don't really like that type of game. If you play hypers/turbos variance hits a lot and if you're playing normal games players are nitty and it can take hours.
Best way to get 10$/hour is to work on your game: work on your leaks, review your sessions and read/watch vids... The players I knew that played for money never succeeded: you must love the game first!
Good luck!

If u want it without variance!
Is this an aim to live off poker type of salary per hour? If yes then u would be able to pay only 40-60% "salary" out of that 10$ anyway so to get payd 10$ per h for yourself u need bigger avg, winrate. In any form of poker that is possible.. just have to master variant that suits u the most.

Interesting!
Would recommend 150 buy-ins for these though even as low as the $3.50s.

I'd rather take a job than doing that
