Hi Edukator,

Preflop: Why are we 3-bettting SO small versus 3.5x MP raise and we are OOP? This 3-bet should be at least 11 BB if not 12-13 BB.

Postflop: As played the flop cbet should be a bit smaller and I agree that we can't do much but fold.

I think I thought he'd bet a standard 3BB raise...as I usually do 3x their bet.

How would making the bet bigger really affect the hand though? I don't know much about bet sizing to be honest and I don't think most players to at this limit...I assume they mostly just see a small bet a big bet or not bet.

Look at the price you are giving him to call you. You are giving him good odds to call with a ton of hands and on top of that you are losing value from your hand.

The smaller you make it the less money you make (or have on the flop).

It may not change much in this particular scenario but you can't be results oriented. It would change a lot in hundreds of other scenarios.
