Villain is playing with stats 25/16/6.7, fold to cbet flop 1/3 in 45 hands.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
SB ($11.38)
BB ($11.02)
Hero ($12.86)
CO ($10.26)
BTN ($5.90)

Dealt to Hero Q♥ J♥

Hero raises to $0.30, fold, BTN calls $0.30, fold, fold

FLOP ($0.75) T♦ 8♦ Q♣

Hero bets $0.50,

Is this a standard bet-fold situation? Or it would be better to check and let him bet?

Hey Acetbfish,

Most of the time it's a good spot to play bet-fold. Plenty of worse can call on this texture.

The exception is that villain is bluffy IP on these textures and you'd want to polarize your cbetting range a little more. Checking these mid hands becomes a viable option, either to play a smaller pot on the turn after check-check, or to bluff-catch on the flop with less at stake.
