PLO50 - dry board; bottom set facing check/raise

I would have raised the flop to $9 and folded to a reshove. The problem as played is that CO looks weak and you look weak, so SB is going to raise with hands like AQTx and KJxx. His range is wider than KK or JJ right now but you probably are correct to fold once he does raise.

I think i would fold pre. Can't see that many good spots arising with this hand. Our hand has little playability; we either hit our set or we've nothing. We'll never have the nuts, either, as mostly we'll have bottom set.

If you feel like you have to fold your set to any action post, then I guess it's not worth hitting it.

I think CO is not strong here based on sizing and your flat looks pretty week, so SB can semibluff raise here with QTKx and even JKxx, for value. So I'm not sure if I can fold on the flop. But like I say, we're just never happy here so I'd ditch it pre (may be a leak of mine).

I like the hand, but would much rather 3 bet it preflop than call against a CO open.

We hit a set 25% of the time and when we don't we can take it down enough of the time with a cbet on the flop.
