Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is CO with K :spade: Q :spade:
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, SB raises to $1.20, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.90, 1 fold

Flop: ($2.80) 5 :spade: A :club: 4 :spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($2.80) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
SB bets $1.60, Hero raises to $3.95, SB folds

His turn bet seemed like a delayed cbet; probably because he was scared of the A? So i raised. Is my thought process correct?

Hello,

Preflop is a little bit close but if you think villain is 3betting wide enough I don't mind calling.

As played, I don't mind checking back the flop. He isn't always checking this board with the intention to check/fold, also we don't give him the chance to check raise us plus we do beat his random hands like T7 or so.

Against a rather thinking opponent I don't really like raising here.
We don't really represent much here since we checked back the flop, so I wouldn't be really surprised if he ends up calling with a hand like QQ here, but of course, since you have 7.7k hands with him you probably have some dynamics.

Overall, I prefer just calling the turn here.

Best,
Plamen
