PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 2.5 Tournament, 50/100 Blinds (9 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com

MP2 (t1,310)
MP3 (t3,155)
CO (t1,650)
Button (t1,505)
Hero (SB) (t4,605)
BB (t1,235)
UTG (t2,240)
UTG+1 (t1,055)
MP1 (t1,380)

Hero's M: 30.70

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, 9
5 folds, CO calls t100, 1 fold, Hero calls t50, BB checks

Flop: (t300) 2, 6, 6 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets t300, Hero folds, 1 fold

Total pot: t300

Can I play this hand more aggressively in a limped pot? I elected to call in SB because of the great odds, maybe if I was on button or CO I would have raised to isolate the limper or jammed.

It's a pretty decent board to lead on. There is a flush draw, but aside of that it's pretty unlikely it hit either of them so we should have pretty decent fold equity, and even have some equity in the pot with overcards and backdoor flush draw.

So imo leading is fine, but check/folding is fine as well.

Also pre is fine I think. I guess you could just jam, but that's pretty much out of the question with 15bb effectively in my view. Raising kind of sucks too because they're relatively short and you'll be out of position. So I'd limp as well.

nh imo :f_thumbsup:

I actually meant should I play it more aggressively preflop, and I didn't think about leading the flop! Vs 1 opp I am definitely leading this flop.

Yeah 15bbs might be too much to put in pre, but we get sooo many folds. And if we iso raise, we go to the flop heads up so often with an ok hand vs his limp/call range and a cbet will be effective. Let's do some calculations for a jam.

If we choose to jam and give limper this range:
22+,A2s+,K8s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,98s,87s,76s,65s,54s,43s,32s,A2o+,KTo+,QTo+,JTo
31.2%

And he calls with:
55+,ATs+,KJs+,AJo+,KQo
10%

(I think those ranges are reasonable!)

68% we get folds and win 250 = +170 chips

11.3% we get called and win 1800 = +203

20.7% we get called and lose 1600 = -331

So we make on average 42 chips :P And that was ignoring BB picking up a hand...

Pretty thin. So I think iso raising is better than jamming, and calling is better than iso raising. And leading is better than not leading?? I don't know haha.

Hey Wohmfg!

I don't like isolating a player in this spot with his stacksize -> you don'T have the right implieds and you're oop too!

Just limp or fold in this spot, as played easy ch/f!
