Pre-flop: (1.5 SB, 5 players) Hero is UTG 9♣ J♠
Hero raises, 1 fold, BTN 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero calls

Flop: 9♦ Q♦ 2♣ (7.5 SB, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets, Hero calls

Turn: 6♠ (4.8 BB, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: J♥ (4.8 BB, 2 players)

Final Pot: 5.8 BB

Is our hand strong enough for a c/r on the flop?

Well Equilator gives me 54% equity so I guess the answer is yes here. :)

Board: Qd 9d 2c
Dead:

Equity Gewonnen UnentschiedenVerloren Hand
Spieler 1: 54.015 % 53.833 % 0.364 % 45.803 % Js9c
Spieler 2: 45.985 % 45.803 % 0.364 % 53.833 % 55+, A8s+, KJs+, A9o+, KJo+

As long as the flop is no A (or K) I check/raise nearly any middle pair+ on the flop as we are often good.

However you shouldn't raise J9o preflop. JTo is the worst J-high hand worth openraising. If you want to be looser preflop then raise pocketpairs one looser and some suited connectors as they are strong enough and play well even in multiway pots. :)
