Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q♥ A♠

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, MP calls 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (9.5 BB, 3 players) 9♣ 9♦ J♠
BB checks, Hero bets 6 BB, MP calls 6 BB, fold

Turn: (21.5 BB, 2 players) T♣
Hero checks, MP checks

River: (21.5 BB, 2 players) K♣
Hero bets 10 BB, MP raises to 131 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 89.5 BB and is all-in

I had initiative on the flop so I cbet. I planned to check fold on the turn. Then I hit the straight so I bet half the pot. He went all in. I thought I was 50/50 to split the pot as he most likely had a straight or a full house. So I called... Really just hoping to split or catch a stupid bluff. Is this just a situation where you have to fold?

Hi Edukator,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: flop and turn are ok but on the river I'd bet/fold every day long. Even the backdoor flush got there and we barely have any money invested there.

So I would not be able to bluffcatch or try to split vs unknown.
