Hi,
It seemed to be 'Let's-raise-Ghartman's-Trips-on-the-River' Day, today! Opponent was your standard, no imagination TAG. No real history with him, we kind of stay out of each others way.
Pre-flop I can and usually would 3Bet this hand but I sometimes just flat Ax pre because BTN's love to barrel ace high boards never expecting me to have one in this spot. Looking back, a lead out on the flop looks nice but I checked to the initial raiser.
No flop action and the turn wasn't great but I'm guessing that a flush draw would have bet the flop so I'm pretty sure I've got the best hand. 2 callers and I lead the river again for a standard size. I get raised but this time he's raising into 2 of us. Also, as before, my hand is pretty under-repped so it could look like I'm trying to steal the pot. I tanked for so long, clicked time-bank and eventually folded. What do you guys think? Nice hand or not? Let me know.
Thanks
