Hey Axeboy90,

Usually when UTG opens the best default line with JJ is to flat and play a single-raised pot. Usually in these specific positions it won't get action from worse often enough to make 3betting the best play.

Flop check/call is pretty close, you still beat some hands in villains range, AK, AJ etc but you won't be a favourite. The only reason you can consider calling is because of the pot odds you have. Check/fold is fine.

Villain's most likely holding by river is AK. He bets good Qx on the turn along with AA/KK/QQ/TT. Maybe he occasionaly holds a hand like AJs or KJs, but often he won't call preflop with these. Ironically best option is probably to c/f.
