I would not call down given his sizing.. I don't expect people to overbet here as a bluff almost ever.. there are also like no busted draws that regularly c/r the flop and barrel off imo. I think flop and turn call are both fine, would still fold river.

What do you think about his sizings? Small raise on the flop, and 1/2 pot bet on turn, and overbet shove on the river? Makes no sense to me. Why would he play value hand like this? It seems to me that T9 didn't complete, so let's overbet the river.

Yeah, T9 is the only draw.. but those are what, 4 combos in BU vs SB? Then you have 88, 78s, 89s, A8s and already you have a close spot whether to call river or not. His sizings are just randomly poor imo, I can't read much into it.. when you say it looks like T9 didn't complete so let's overbet it can also be 88 being like: well, I have too much left behind, good thing it's no limi, I shove. There's no rational analysis of why he would overbet only T9. 130bb deep I've also seen people call JJ preflop BU vs SB so if you put that in his range as well, you are doing even worse...
