In reality villain barely even represents sets on this texture, seeing as it makes sense to defend most of his range passively in this spot.

I would tend towards giving him credit for a few reasons. Firstly his cold-call is not that high to begin with. He could even have JJ+ in his range here and playing tricky.

Secondly you are not just calling $2.75 in the long run since villain will barrel turn so you need a lot more equity than the 25% it may appear you need on the flop.

Finally pretty difficult to know which hands hit villain on turn. He may even be bluff raising with the best hand here. I'd just fold flop.

Usually wouldn't end up making this turn play without some good reads. You rep a lot of strength, but on the other hand no guarantee villain is folding a hand like QQ and he's never folding a set. Might be profitable, might not, depends on villain. I would tend towards assuming it isn't.
