I think I like how this hand is played although I'm not too sure about equities as I don't have access to those articles yet. If your opponent caps with the standard TAG capping hands, I think 33% is good enough to calldown. A blank on the turn gives us about the same equity so another call seems right. On the river you basically beat nothing but you are getting 10% equity with pot odds of 10.75 to 1... I would be inclined to fold here but these numbers might warrant a call. Let the judges figure this one out

i´m not sure here so i will mark it for cirith.
i think it´s possible to play it this way but i somehow don´t like to play pockets like this because you give hands like AK cheap cards. i tend to check/raise the flop. but i don´t like this either ^^

btw: welcome to the forum ratex :)

Hi ratex,

I like the hand as played and MP87 made a good analyses why a check/raise is not the best thing here. You are not ahead and you might even get a 3-bet by overcards so you even fold in this case the best hand.
If the river is no A, K, Q or J then calling again is possible if he is very aggressive. That is because A-Q makes him a pair and the J may scare him to bet his AK or AQ again so he often checks these behind.
