5 buy in losing slump

Hi guys

I have been playing for a bout ten months now.

I was strictly a sng player until about 3 weeks ago and now I am playing fr cash

I recently moved up from NL2 to NL 5 and was doing well until today.

I was winning roughly 5/6 BB/100 over approximately 17000 hands.

However today through a combo of bad play and bad luck I lost about 6 buy ins over about 1000 hands and it feels pretty bad. My win rate had plummeted to 3bb/100.

Needless to say I am moving back down to NL2 until I start to move in the right direction.

Is this rate of slump common?

Cheers, Marc.

Learning to move up and down is the single most important skill. You may be the best player in the pool, but if you don't stick to your BRM plan, you will sooner or later bust your roll.

Hi shero1910,

Moved this to No Limit Forums, you may get a better response there.

Regards,

Mal.
