I know where you mean though, as I go fishing in Gwynedd fisheries. Which is round about where you mean.

Another fisherman with a caravan - i have one in Llanaber just outside Barmouth. Do you fish the Mawddach and Wnion ?

Got a week booked off work towards the end of the Salmon season - hoping the rivers will have fish in them

I'm actually a carper. I go all over the place fishing. I've not managed to get out this season at all though, due to illness, which is a shame.

My dad also has a fishing boat in Liverpool marina. We can get to the mersey bar in no time what-so-ever. I've really missed it all this season

Hrrmmm, this is embarrassing seeing as I've been a local North Walean lad for 15 years, but there is a Towyn as well as a Tywyn in North Wales?.. I know for a fact that most people not from the area pronounce Tywyn as Towyn... Tywyn is also by Rhyl. Actually, thinking about it, I'm sure you mean Tywyn. Perhaps it's spelt in two ways. But there's one thing we both can agree on, as lovely as the people local to there are, they all really do love their sheep like no other town in Wales!!

I definaity mean Towyn, next along the coast from Rhyl. As far as i'm aware Tywyn is near Snowdon.

Ahh right okay, fair enough. Yeah, Tywyn is literally a few miles from the perimeter of Snowdonia. Thanks for correcting me.

I used to do nought else but fish for carp and pike in my youth. Wife, 3 kids put a stop to those weekends away sitting in a bivi I thought I better find a fish that does not need so much of my time.

I also have a small fishing boat on the Artro near harlech - this was a good buy, as I could take the kids with me for some easy fishing and NO moaning - BLISS - a few years a go my yougest caught a 60lb Tope off the boat, frightened the life out of her - she is now hooked for life on angling. ♦

Punta nice fish mate bet you had fun getting that on the boat ♦
