NL2 SH AK strange line preflop

I think 3betting MP3 is mandatory as players are loose and they tend to call with their weak ranges. You don't need to worry about scaring them off. I always think, if he has a hand he likes, he will call.

As played, BB's 3bet is actually very strong as there are many callers and he has little fold equity. He also makes it small so it's likely that he doesn't want to scare you guys off with his small raise, get it?

So I would just call and hope to spike an A or a K (folding is too weak as you get great odds with MP sticking around). For your shoving to work, you must have FE as otherwise you will be an underdog against AK/QQ+ (check this out in an equilab). I don't think you have FE in this spot.

I disagree with your reasoning here. Your reasoning applies more to tighter players who are bad but are really tight preflop and will fold a ton to 3bets. Here he's short stacked which should make him more inclined to stack off with AJ/KQ/AQ a lot more often.

After you get squeezed, the back-raise all-in seems good. There's a lot of dead money in the pot and it's great if all of them fold. Even if someone calls you have decent equity vs his range.

I don't think you should read too much into his raise size. Though I must admit he does seem a little fishy and fishy guys tend to be more passive on average. But still, AK is a pretty good hand and there's no indication that he's ultra-passive or tight or anything like that.
