This hand it's against an aggressive fish so my questions are:
1. It's ok to call this hand OOP vs fish?
2. What was the optimal play as I played preflop?

Hiya

PREFLOP
I would just muck this hand as fish are generally passive and their 3bets are strong (QQ+/AK if not KK+). Your hands is dominated so I would just muck it.

FLOP
As played, I would check/shove this hand to generate fold equity vs KK (20% of his range) as you will be committed to call down.

Calling on the flop is fine if you don't expect the guy to fold KK to your shove.
Board: AhQs7h
Equity Win Tie
CO 44.38% 44.38% 0.01% { QhJh }
BU 55.62% 55.61% 0.01% { QQ+, AKs, AKo }

TURN
You have to check/fold this hand on the turn as you don't have the required pot odds to call. You need 34.26% to break-even and you get only 27.98% with your hand. This is regardless if he shoves KK or not.

Board: AhQs7h4c
Equity Win Tie
CO 27.98% 27.98% 0.00% { QhJh }
BU 72.02% 72.02% 0.00% { AA, QQ, AKs, AKo }

CONCLUSION
#1 Biggest mistake is calling this preflop.
#2 Calling the turn is also a mistake.
#3 Calling the flop is ok, but check/raising may be better to generate FE vs KK.

Good luck!
David

Hi.

Preflop: fold this without reads. Your hand is crushed by a fish's 3b range (assuming he is passive)

Flop: i think the way u played it is fine. With KhJh it would be a chexkshove for me. With QhJh u have showdown value so i think its better to cc instead.

Thanks.
