Check out this site if you want to enhance your brain in specific areas, or if you want to prevent when getting old to get alzheimers.

In Denmark 10% of the population get demented when they are above 60-70, and the road to get demented is a path through alzheimers. Long story short, if u keep do theese games once in a while, it should completely remove the probablility to get alzheimers, since the brain start a process of creating dementedness/alzheimers if it dont get used to its potential.

Furthermore you can check what ur avg brain BPI is, and compare if i want.

In poker we use attention, problemsolving, memory and speed. And if you could make your brain faster why not?

When creating a acc u can pay to get full programs, kinda cheap, or you can for free have 3 games pr day. I chosed the last part since i dont wanna overdo something that might not work.

Btw my avg bpi has rised 250 from when i started the program, then some might say, yeah but u just get good at the games in there. Yes, but they make new games once in a while, and if u dont pay, u get 3 diff games everyday, and you chan CHOOSE when you make ur acc what part of the brain u want to enhance.

Just wanted to put it out there for ppl, not like im a affiliate hunting for clicks on a link, check it out or dont, ur choise.

I've been using that for the last ~10days since I read about it in Schnitzelfisch 's guide.

It only taks like 5 mins a day.

i guess speed is something a lot of poker players has trained a lot

Your flexibility is impressive.

My attention and problemsolving has been destroyed by too many drugs in the past, so thats also why i concentrate on enhancing those areas. Dont i think i've never had a good flex. after i got around 11 years old

I'm incredibly skeptical about this, (and yes, I read the 'Scientific studies'). I know that I get faster at mental arithmetic with a bit of practice but really? Aren't there better things to do with your money? (and perhaps time?)

There are free ways of doing the same or at least similar things:

fwiw I was a lot more happy with the message I got from the paper I read on Dual 'N' Back than I was on the others i skimmed. Cliffs: conclusion was that performance seems to improve but whether this is only in this one type of test is unproven.

edit: I think you can't just convince me personally with a small handful of studies that test very few people, seem like they may have some minor flaws in execution and appear to be written in a somewhat biased way. I only start to believe when these things start looking bulletproof and are repeated many times with hundreds upon hundreds of people.

Most frustrating is that when I compare to others and put it at ages 75+ it claims I'm at the top 99.6%.. hard to accept there is a grandpa crushing me ;(
