Hi Shero,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Why are we potting here flop and turn?

I think that you have minimal value for such larger bets and river should be a check fold versus such a player or bet/fold. You only have value from maybe QT/QJ and rarely TT/JJ. If we bet it's a bet/fold. WHy are you calling?

thanks, i thought i should be making pot size best to prevent him from having the correct odds to draw. the reason i bet and called on the river was because he called every street and i thought he had Qx and shoved to bluff when the A came.

Just remember that no-one bluffs on river by raising at this level. It's always nuts or better

ok cpallo i must remember that. i have played nearly 25,000 hand at NL2 now and keep making stupid calls

Definitely these calls will make you lose a lot of money.

Remember that even if you bet half pot he is not getting the correct odds unless you also give him implied odds.

For example, let's say he has a club draw on the turn and no gutshot or oesd. He has at most 9 outs.

9 outs means about 18% equity.

When you bet half pot he gets 25% pot odds so more than his equity.

When you bet full pot he gets 33% pot odds.
