I 3bet AJ+, 99+, suited connectors and one gappers 46s-8Ts vs unknown.

Is it ok to have a gameplan, to bet bet bet TPTK, and to cbet and give up with no equity, and bet bet bet with draws like this hand.

So is river +EV? I try to fold his Tx, JQ, JJ, sometimes QQ, and sometimes weaker Kx.

1) Would it be ok to check fold flop with hands where I totally missed the board? Would my cbet then be too small?

2) And hands which have bdfd to cbet flop, and bet bet if I improve to fd and give up on blank

3) with gutshot on flop, would bet bet bet be ok, or just bet flop give up turn, not to barrel too much.

Hi

Preflop: Both 3b and call are reasonable. I probably just call this anyway, 3-betting this is bad vs someone who defends a wide range.

Flop: Cbet is fine with backdoors
Turn: When you pick up diamonds it's standard to bet again
River: I'm not sure if he folds KJ and KQ. Would help to have more reads on his WTSD and fold River vs cbet (but i guess you're readless).

What does his river range looks like?

Do you think he's foldig enough hands, based on what I wrote here? Remember that you are risking 67/149.5=44.8%. I don't think you have that much fold equity here.

OK, basically, I would need him to fold at least KJ to make this profitable play but I doubt that average player in NL50 folds Kx on such a board because people 3bet wide from blinds and barrel wide.

Would it be different if I bet flop and turn larger so that the bet on river is 1/2 pot size, and then I need 30% FE? I need less FE but also he can call more often since he also needs to be less right. What is then better?

i think your size is fine. if u leave a half pot bet on the river he will never fold KX IMO. your turn bet would be a little too large if u increase it any further
