CO: $51.19 (102.4 bb)
Hero (BTN): $57.88 (115.8 bb)
SB: $50.87 (101.7 bb)
BB: $92.28 (184.6 bb)
UTG: $41.51 (83 bb)
MP: $53.29 (106.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q K
3 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, SB folds, BB raises to $2, Hero calls $0.75

Flop: ($4.25) 9 6 5 (2 players)
BB bets $2, Hero calls $2

Turn: ($8.25) 7 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB calls $4

River: ($16.25) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6, BB calls $6

V: 24/15/ 3.5 3bet / 3.3 AF .. Although his 3bet % is so small i don't think i'm ever folding KQ here to a MR with position

His flop bet sizing struck me as really weak so planned on calling and taking the pot away on a later street.

The turn cards a really good card for us when he checks as it gives us a big boost in equity although it could be dominated vs Ah/Kh so decided to bet as a semi-bluff just hoping to take the pot down on the turn

Not Sure what to put him on when he calls the turn and checks the river. TT-JJ is such a tiny part of his range but it looks the most likely? so when the Q hits we are definitely betting for value?

I expect him to bet QQ+ hands bigger and barrel again on the turn so can discount those, TBH i expect TT+ to do that too but who knows. would really like to know what he called with but ah well

Hi ABShortland,

I think that given your information on the player your line is fine.

I think that you can even bet bigger on the river for value and although villain can ck/call some big hands he will definitely have some weaker ones in the form of TT/JJ and even AK that he can't fold. I'm assuming the sample of hands on him wasn't huge?
