Flop: (2.4 SB) 5, 10, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls

Turn: (2.2 BB) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 raises, Hero calls

River: (6.2 BB) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero folds, 1 fold

Total pot: 6.2 BB

The key thing that you did wrong in this hand was betting on the flop. however, after u had made this mistake, i think the rest of the hand was played correctly considering this bet.

the way i would have preferred the hand to be played would be as follows:
check/fold flop
check/call turn with ur oesd
and perhaps good flush draw
and then just check/fold river after the missed draw.


The strategy articles tell us to bet the flop on every unraised preflop hand vs. one opponent so a bet there is fine. I like the hand as played.


Oh really? I must have missed that when reading! I havent been putting that into practice when playin.
