fishy unknown 22/13/0.3/79 (5-6 handed)
another one played rather poorly on my part
i didn't want to push pre since he needs to call only more than 10% to make it a -EV push. raise in this case is standard imo (not sure i want to try limp/shoving against an unknown with this hand in case he checks back pre and gets sticky post).
He doesn't really look like a bluffer so i think bet/folding this flop is quite allright. Once he calls it he can have absolutely anything imo since this board welcomes floats (not that i have any reads on him being a floater). The board developement in fact is really confusing for me cause on one hand i hold a pretty strong hand on the other have no idea how to assess the probability of getting paid by a worse hand and/or what is gonna be his turn/river betting range.
turn as played - i guess ch/c (any normal sized bet) is OK since he can have mentioned floats or maybe even betting a worse Ax for value (although i doubt that tbh).
once he checks it back i really dont know what to make of it, it looks like some kind of a SD value, right?
river - i may be still ahead (draws if he decided to play them passively on the turn) + floats he didnt bet on the turn (fish do that sometimes) + worse Ax. shall i blockbet/fold then? it looks like a perfect spot for this play.
on the other hand i was planning to ch/call turn so maybe i can do the same on the river (the problem is that i think there will be many more weaker hands in his betting range on the turn than there are on the river, right?)
or maybe my ch/fold is fine against this player since i beat only bluffs (not very likely) or thinly vbet Ax (also not that likely imo).
tbh i would prefer a blockbet/fold. I like ch/calling the least. Agreed?
