nh. i really cant see him havin a bigger straight than you do from the way his betting has gone.. So its much more likely that he has trips or two pair. Well played
I'm not really a fan of the raise on the flop here. You can't raise for value right after the initial bettor because it looks like a protection raise to everyone else. All you will accomplish here is isolating yourself against already made hands (like a pair of Queens) when you want to keep worse hands in the pot with you. Note that with a raise here, flush draws are still getting the odds to call so you will not be making them fold so there is really no reason to raise here. If you flat call and say 4-5 players go to the turn, there's a good chance that someone might hit two pair or maybe a set and you will get payed off well if you hit your straight. As played, I like the river cap because he would not bet out on a streets with 98o or 84o. He might make this play with 9♠8♠ or 8♠4♠ but I think you are ahead more than 66% of the time here.
