Hello!

UTG+1 ($10.40) 104bb
CO ($10.63) 106bb
BTN ($10) 100bb
SB ($21.16) 212bb
HERO (BB) ($10) 100bb

Pre-Flop: ($0.15, 6 players) HERO is BB A♦ K♥
UTG calls $0.10, 4 folds, HERO raises to $0.40, UTG calls $0.30

Flop: Q♠ 8♦ 3♦ ($0.85, 2 players)
HERO bets $0.40, UTG goes all-in $1.37, HERO calls $0.97

PRE
Should I iso to 3x vs such a shortie?

FLOP
Sometimes he shoves with worse and I`m getting reasonable price to call anyway.
Plus, I got some backdoors as well.

Hey D,

Yeah, 4bb vs such a short stack is a bit too much.

Flop is probably close since you need 27% equity. I think the better line if you want to bet/call is to make it about 0.60 and you have a snap call given the odds then and his range containing worse hands than AK.

I personally prefer not cbetting at all here because against his stack, pur backdoor doesn't help barreling. We can just check and evaluate our action based on his sizing.
