villain was playing 17 14 2.5
on the turn i thought that if he is calling the flop with a queen or a spade he will give up to another barrel

Bad board to make a move.
Villain would not bet on the flop if he doesn´t hold spade or overpair, so you don´t have neough fold equity.
And once he calls flop, why he should fold turn.

I hate your call OOP with 65s PF. 3bet or fold.

what i forgot to mention is that in his last 5 attempts to steal my blind i 3 beted him 3 times and he folded so i was feeling he was going to adapt . probably i should just fold this time pre

Surely this is a bad time to make a move then? :)

um.. hero is in position here with a nice suited connector. i would never fold this pre, but i think check/fold on this flop is best.

hero is IP as BB vs SB, so SB's range is very wide and a sc is worthless unless he flops a str8flush

so being able to ship a ton of flops where hero flops pair + draw, as well as having position if hero flops something weak like 2nd pair = worthless? :(. i 3bet here sometimes but given history i think a call is 100% fine too. we're not exactly calling for implied odds per se.

i am not calling here just for my implied odds with a suited connector .
i am 100% sure i can take the pot down some times when i dont hit or i hit butom pair being IP .
but folding sometimes when your image doesnt allow you to do moves is not bad either

ok lets say you call and flop comes

T62r SB bets whats your line ?
turn bricks SB bets, what's your line ? (assuming you called the flop)

A23r

A22tt

KQ2r

QT4tt

same question. just to make you understand its going to be hard to steal the pot if SB is aggro. your best line is to 3bet or fold imo

i fold every time to 2nd barrel

better question is T62ss (not of your suit), in which case i'm more happy to call 2 barrels. but if it's T62RAG-r, i'll probably fold to the second barrel. if scarecards come i'm more inclined to call the turn, etc. if the board is perfect for a 3barrel i might even call down all 3..

In general it's not a bad spot to make a move. Due to your history I just fold on the flop. If I want to make the move I play call flop and raise turn. Looks way stronger.
